Hi, dear people! I've just came from Leadership Development Seminar 2006 that took place in Kyiv, where I have been an IS Coordinator of this conference and I must feel you that it was something! I've met lots of new people and loved most of them, I've had new ideas in my head about creating my own future. So many things to do, so many work to make, but I am motivated to do it and I am passionate about making trainings in IT, so that's the stuff I am focused for next month.

Talking about conference, I must tell ya that it was organized on a very high level and all people that took part in it were excited. Thanks to OC we had a very strong number of trainers. That was great

Be a leader!

Hi, dear people! sorry for not writting for a long time, but there have been several reasons for it: of, course, as always in AIESEC, I've challenged my worldview several times and, of course, it's summer and I've had several trips... So, I want to share them with you:

Firstly, me and my beloved sister Ann went to our grandma to give her some attention, have a nice chat and show our love. My granma is a kind of person I can talk forever, because we have very close characters. In her early 80th she learns new poetry by heart, reads lots of new books and even writes some essays about her life and people, who surround her. She is great example for me.

My second trip was to nice place Sheshory in Carpathians mountains on great ethnic festival. What I can tell you about this nice event? Ha, a lot.

Firstly, people...

Hope you know that native hutshuls are friendly and kind-hearted, so I always visit them with great passion. And, telling about people - who came to festival - they were very-very different. Of, course, the main part where young students, who enjoy being together and the feeling of youth. But, except for students, there were lots of punks, hippies, rastamans and representatives of other subcultures, lots of bulls from closest villages and older people who came to have nice rest in Carpathian mountains. But the amount of people was too large.

Secondly, music.
It was far better then last year. OC of festival have choosen to make fewer amount of performers, but they were real professionals. 5 with plus!

Thirdly, shops, cafes and trade.
More and more people come to festival and therefore a far lot new traders come to it as well in search of profit. And, you know, it is very hard to relax if you smell barbecue or see almost everyone going with beer in hands. That was bad!

At last, entertainment.
Lots of new kind of activities during day were organized: cinema with avantguarde films, workshops and master-classes, mini-concerts, drama performences and excursion. Talking about excursion, I've participated in one and the main thing I saw was drozd's nest. I'll try to show the picture of it to Vitalik soon. Hope he'll visit my blog :)

My third trip was trip to Dnipropetrovsk on work of National IS Team. Right at railway station I was met by guys and seconds after we had a nice chat. Working in one room for three days made us being real team and I really want to say big-big thanks to all people, whom I met during this days - they all are real Personalities.
Of course, at Dnepr we had not only hard work, but a hard play. No, I'm not talking about FIFA 2006 and Magic Card games, but about it too. I'm talking about nice party we had at first day. Thanks for all people, who came to it, sorry for not remembering all of you, I was so drunk that don't remember largest part of party :) I remember party partly. Nice calambur. Still, I saw that AIESEC in Dnipropetrovsk are very friendly, funny, great and easy-going people. Without a doubt, they can work just as good as relax.
Luckily, next morning we had no headaches and continued our productive work. New ideas appered in our heads, we shared them, brainstormed, another ideas appeared, and the main thing I liked was sharing expirience.
That is the most great in every trip and try to take every opportunity to learn something new from other people, see your daily things from another angle and be happy sharing your knowledge with other people. For example, I've promoted my and Vitalik's favourite thing for last month - podcasts. Enlarge your network - you do not need anything to do it, just come to person, say "Hi, my name is..." and heart will advice you what to do next.
After meeting we had a big analyzing conversation after which our work in platform made a large step forward. So, that's another my conclusion - always analyze anything and try to critisize it - just to make it better.

but... you know...still Kyiv is the best :)

After Dnepr I've had several days to visit my relatives in father's native village - Boguslav in Pavlograd's region of Dnipropetrovska oblast. My father's two brother are living in Pavlograd, so I've visited both families. My cousin Vanya is a student in Harkiv already and his sister Katya is a real beaty. Another cousin Olya has already got two children Max and Nastya. They both go to kindergarten still. I've founded out that Max has a girlfriend already, and Nastya is, without a doubt a future superstar. She's so nice. That's all about my travels for now. Have a lot of work to do as an Art-Director of Virtual Platform Team and looking forward to LDS.

Live consciously
