Today I've visit the award ceremony of Citizen Journalism contest organized by British Council and Nokia. All the contestants you can find here. Ha! My work, where I advertize this blog is even on first page. After award ceremony we had furchet, where I was lucky to get a contact with very interesting people. Have no doubt that the issue of contest - Citizen Journalizm will develop well, due to Web 2.0 development and, especially, development of blogging. It's great that this kind of stuff is becoming more and more regarded.

Yesterday, I’ve visited Kyiv night club “Forsage”, where famous Russian group “Yug” has made a concert. Their lyrics, thoughts, music really supported me, when I was at 10-11 class at school. I haven’t seen people, who were cool and clever at the same time and the being of such guys really help me believe in it. Concert was amazing, when you see lots of cool people bouncing to the beat, listening to this beautiful words, you have a great feeling of unity. Kit, Mef & Vint performed new and old songs and it was unforgettable.
After concert me, my friend Vanya and some other guys from NaUKMA bought a bottle of wine and then begun making freestyles.
Life is good :)

I am sitting now at house of my sister. My niece is laying on the bed near me. She is so beautiful and cute and is smiling to me and to members of our family. Nastya already says 'agu' and has own character. It is sooo nice to see her growing and be older and smarter. In some time I think Nastya will say more words ;)
And in 2 hours I am going to Railway Station and the to New Horizons to AIESEC Conference in Dnipropetrovsk. Hope this will be unforgettable 5 days of my life.
With best wishes,
Anton

It was unique day…
Richard Bach said: “Every dream has been given to us with the strength to achieve it”. I can add that you need to search for people (or seagals :) as it was in Richard Bach’s book about seagal Johnatan Livingstone) that can help you on your way to your dream. You just need to make first step. More then 10,000 people have made their first step on their way – they came to Kyiv Post Employment Fair, that has taken place in ExpoPlaza, today, the 5th of November 2006.

Employment Fairs from Kyiv Post are impressive – when you see so many famous and brand-new companies, in one place, you become exited about possibilities of your future. A lot of people came with their CV’s, so they will be probably called soon from the companies. Lucky guys! :)
After spending some time at Fair, I started communicating with active participants of Fair, and some of their thoughts I would like to share with you.

Olga Melnik, HR-Manager, Beeline Ukraine
- What are your general impressions about Employment Fair?
- Fair is organized on a very high level. There much more interesting companies and this fair is becoming better and better. More opportunies, more people, more interesting participants – the level of Fair progresses every time it is organized”.
Organization Committee member Ol’ga Grinishchenko:
– How organizing of such events is connected with mission of Kyiv Post?
- Kyiv Post is the most popular newspaper about Kyiv in English language. One of our goals is to provide representatives of Ukrainian society with information about job possibilities.
What can you say about effectiveness of Employment Fair?
- T he last event in Spring was visited by 10,000 participants. I think that this year there are much more of them. Talking about companies – the number of them are also constantly increasing. There were 77 of them in Spring and now it is 122 – the number increased in about 1.5 times.
-
What do you like the most about Employment Fair?
- I like to hear nice feedback either from people or by companies. It is so great to understand that we are doing great job that is needed by society.
Without a doubt, such events are really needed by our society, cause they help our people to have dreams. I dream that Ukraine someday will be a part of European Union. But one dream is not enough.
We need to work to help this dream come true. Would you like to dream with me? :)

Visit to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
This day me and my friends from faculty of Social Science (Glib and Andrew, you can see us on photos) went to Supreme Rada of Ukraine, as representatives of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, to listen a speaches about entering of Ukraine to WTO. We really did listen at first, sitting in chairs of deputees, trying to make serious faces and then were just walking through Verkhovna Rada, enjoying it's beautiful interior, eating at very cheap Rada's buffet and then making a little photosession for future.
Enjoy!
