First time in studio

First time in studio

Dreams come true! Yesterday was very interesting and inspiring day for me. I've begun writing rap songs since 10th form (I was 15 y.o. then) and at first I've never thought about rapping them by myself -- it was more for others. At the end of 10th form I was plaing in TV game "LG Eureka" that is about competition between clever young people. One of the tours was performing something to show your talent. For me it was rather hard, cause I am not good nor in singing, neither in dancing. However, I've found way out -- perform one of my rap songs and
it was "Intermezzo". I must admit that performing was very successful and that's why how my first videoclip on one of the best Tv channels in Ukraine -- "Inter" was shown. He-he. Since I've started believing in myself and in work I can do and after 10th form have written my own home-made album that was called "IntelectUAl Rap". Then I was writing songs occasionally and recording it also occasionally. After that moment me and my classmate Pasha have formed a group call "Lad'N'Lack" and have written 4 songs which inspired me greatly: "Choose your path", "Grafitti", "Our country" and "Good and Evil". Then we graduated from Kyiv-Mohyla Collegium and didn't keep in touch. Being on 2nd course in Kyiv-Mohyla Academy I've met a fellow name Vanya who was also interested in writing and performing rap songs. His passion and attitude inspired me greatly and since Autumn this year we are working on making our own songs. The problem was about recording -- we can not afford it. And not long ago I've became friends with girl Natasha, who joined AIESEC this year and she is professional audio editor. And guess what? Yesterday me an Vanya went to STUDIO!!! to record two our tracks ("Spas" and "Sport"). It was really something ;) We felt like real superstars who are making great product. The sound was great, our style was great and the life is great. I hope to get soon nice edited version of our records and then it can be a great basis for our development.

Hi, there!

Very interesting week, cuz I've just came from WinCo -- too many emotions, too many possibilities, too much work to do. It's great. Currently try to do my best from my time-management system, which is David Allen's "Getting Things Done". IF you do not know what is it, I would really advice you to visit www.davidco.com . Working hard on Skills Matter project, info about which you can find at http://www.aiesec.kiev.ua/skills-matter/ . Cheers and good luck!

Remember that it is better to try and regret that regret and not try.
It really motivates me for now
